Argon welder — Ohio County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Ohio County, Indiana. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
