Steel erection rigger — Macon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Macon County, Georgia. The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
