Now hiring: elevator technician (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Branch County, Michigan. You will work at a busy lift company. You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
