Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Webster County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Rotating shifts.
