Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Meade County, Kentucky. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On a typical shift you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters.
