Foundry worker — Harrison County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Harrison County, Ohio. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
