Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Williamson County, Illinois. You will work on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
