Flatlock machine operator — Bradford

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Bradford, England. You will work at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
