We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazier in Putnam County, Georgia. You will work at a double glazing firm. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes On the job you will handle: • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
