Lift erector — Windham County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Windham County, Vermont. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
