Vacancy available: plant operator (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Macon County, Illinois. You will be based at a road-building project. On the job you will handle: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
