Pastry baker — San Juan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in San Juan County, Colorado. You will be based in a bread factory. Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; score the top of loaves before baking; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts.
