Structural MIG welder wanted in Genesee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Genesee County, New York. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Full-time, day shift.
