Gas appliance installer — Paulding County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Paulding County, Georgia. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
