Power float operator — Buchanan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Buchanan County, Virginia. The job is in a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 6+ years on the tools preferred.
