Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Canadian County, Oklahoma. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Meals and transport allowance provided.
