Semi-automatic welder — Houston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Houston County, Texas. You will be based at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Part-time with flexible hours.
