JCB operator — Benton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a JCB operator in Benton County, Iowa. You will be based at a stone quarry. Your main tasks: • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
