Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Carroll County, Ohio. You will be based on a busy housing site. You will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
