Chiller technician — Wasco County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a chiller technician in Wasco County, Oregon. The job is at a food processing plant. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Six days a week, one day off.
