Power press operator — Hood River County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Hood River County, Oregon. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
