Crane operator — Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Carroll County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Rotating shifts.
