Turning centre operator — Andrews County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Andrews County, Texas. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
