Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
