The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
