Finishing plasterer — Lamoille County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Lamoille County, Vermont. You will work in a refurbishment property. Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Day to day you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
