Argon welding operator — Union County

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Union County, Tennessee. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Six days a week, one day off.
