Brick and block layer — Marathon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Marathon County, Wisconsin. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
