Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Refugio County, Texas. The job is in an HVAC service company. The role involves: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
