Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer in Macon County, Illinois. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. On a typical shift you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
