Gas service engineer — Riley County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Riley County, Kansas. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances.
