Single needle operator — Kingman County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Kingman County, Kansas. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
