Trowel-trade bricklayer — Grayson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Grayson County, Kentucky. You will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Rotating shifts.
