Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Schuyler County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
