Bricklayer — Hocking County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Hocking County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
