Pressman — Ashe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Ashe County, North Carolina. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
