Bread and bun maker — Johnston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Johnston County, North Carolina. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
