Power press operator — Highlands County

Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Highlands County, Florida. The job is on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
