Vacancy available: single needle operator (Maine)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Piscataquis County, Maine. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
