Glazing assistant — Fairfax County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Fairfax County, Virginia. You will work on a high-rise facade project. What we are looking for: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand You will replace cracked or broken window panes; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
