Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Peoria County, Illinois. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade You will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors.
