Laundry presser • Gilmer County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
