Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Monroe County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
