Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Hamilton County, Nebraska. The job is at a powder coating unit. Requirements: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms The role involves check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat.
