Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Boyd County, Nebraska. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Full-time with occasional weekends.
