Fusing press operator — Chippewa County

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will be based in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
