Plant operator wanted in Cattaraugus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor You will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches.
