Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Uinta County, Wyoming. On the job you will handle: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
