Long-haul driver • Yalobusha County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 6+ years on the tools preferred.
