Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Rotherham, England. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £2,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
